Ambassador Program

Community Affairs Council

Member Council
Chair: Cathi Hight - Hight Performance
The Member Council provides outreach to Chamber members to check in and keep them in the loop of new member services. They also provide feedback to Chamber staff on the value of membership.
Multicultural Small Business Council
Chair: Sharon King - Boulder Small Business Development Center
Minority businesses are an integral part of the economic mainstream of the Chamber's business activities. The council’s goal is to increase access toward viable business opportunities that will expand and sustain our regional minority entrepreneurial community. Read more.

Boulder 2140 – Inspiring Young Professionals
Chair: Matt Kolb - Pedal to Properties

ActiveBoulder
Chair: Leslie Boehm - Catalyst Communication
ActiveBoulder connects outdoor sports and active living businesses, to supports them and builds the Boulder brand. An executive committee plans the work of the group, a committee for branding and marketing Boulder within the active living industry and an events committee. Read more.
CleanTech Boulder
Chair: Dan Powers - Boulder Chamber
The Chamber has collaborated with the city, university and several organizations to form CleanTech Boulder, an industry cluster focused on the success of energy efficiency and sustainability-related companies in the Boulder area. Read more.
Esprit Committees
Chair: Jim Cowgill - EKS&H
An Award Committee meets to review criteria, bring forth nominations and provide the final evaluation. The Breakfast Technology Committee works with CU’s Tech Transfer office to identify and recommend companies to present at the Technology Forum Breakfast.
Membership Sales Team
Chair: Jan Berg - Boulder Chamber
Each year, the Chamber assembles a top-notch sales team to identify and recruit new members. Several teams are formed that work together to maximize their efforts and to compete for wonderful prizes. It is a great group for passionate Chamber members who want to hone their sales skills and meet new business people.
Education Committee
Chair: Francie Anhut - Impact on Education
This group promotes an outstanding educational system in Boulder, K-16 and beyond working collaboratively with educational institutions in the area. As appropriate it ensures that the membership is up to speed on education issues and recommends political positions for the Chamber to take in the area of education policy.
Workers Compensation Safety Committee
Chair: Kelene Reichenberg - Brock & Company CPAs
This board-appointed group oversees the Pinnacol Assurance Workers Compensation Association plan available to members. This committee meets quarterly to monitor the performance of the policyholders to ensure that safety is a top priority.
