The Boulder Chamber supports the city of Boulder's environmental sustainability goals
. We also partner with Governor Bill Ritter’s efforts to grow Colorado's New Energy Economy. We encourage the local business community to pursue energy efficiency and other green techniques as a way to contribute to Boulder's overall economic health. The Boulder Chamber is partnering on
two cutting-edge program series that will provide participating Chamber member businesses with information, expertise and resources to make their companies more sustainable through energy efficiency and other operational changes.
Natural Capitalism Solutions is the force behind the
Sustainability Circles series, a powerful 6-month program with in-depth expert analysis and onsite visits for C-level business leaders. We've also partnered with the
Northwest Earth Institute's Sustainable Systems at Work roundtable series, a ten-week program of education and "homework" for facility managers and green team members making initial strides into sustainability. For info contact

The ClimateSmart Loan program provides upfront funding for energy efficiency improvements in commercial properties within Boulder County. There are rebates now available to cover 70% of project costs up to $10,000. Commercial property owners can choose a set of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures from the eligible measures list and apply for a minimum $3,000 and up to a maximum of $210,000 loan to fund the improvement.
