The Boulder Chamber has appointed Lori Call as Senior Director of Policy Programs. In this role, Call will lead the Boulder Chamber’s policy team by providing strategic direction on a broad range of local and regional policy interests. This will include key concepts of the Chamber’s “Boulder Together” program, the proactive initiative assisting Boulder’s businesses in their access to high quality workforce talent while also addressing associated mobility and housing issues.
“As Boulder’s economy evolves, the complexity and level of support required by our businesses is also evolving,” said John Tayer, Boulder Chamber President and CEO. “The Boulder Chamber is responding in an expanded capacity to address our unique local challenges as well as regional, state and national policy issues that impact business success and the vitality of our economy. Lori will provide important leadership as we accelerate our efforts to advance the community’s priorities.”
Prior to joining the Boulder Chamber, Call was employed with Kaiser Permanente for fifteen years in a number of strategic roles, leading its stakeholder operations, community relations and brand and external communications teams. She has been significantly involved with the Boulder Chamber during the past seven years, serving on its Board of Directors and as a Board officer.
Before Kaiser Permanente, Call served as Director of Communications at University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business.
Call has been significantly involved within the Boulder community and organizations throughout the state. In addition to her Board service with the Boulder Chamber, she previously served on the Board of Directors of Metro Volunteers, Social Venture Partners and the West Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Call earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and her MBA from the University of Colorado Denver.
