Boulder Chamber Hosts Congressman Joe Neguse
On May 6, Congressman Joe Neguse visited the Boulder Chamber to talk with members as part of Small Business Week. He addressed a number of key issues facing local businesses, including workforce housing, which he said was the top issue raised when he talked with his constituents. He discussed the challenges members of the workforce face when identifying housing, and also mentioned housing pressures faced by graduate students.
Energy was another issue our members raised with the Congressman. Congressman Neguse discussed the opportunity to develop an energy road map and the significant technological advancements in the sector, citing Namaste Solar and other local organizations that are leading the clean energy evolution.
The Boulder Chamber enjoys its strong relationship with Congressman Neguse. As Boulder Chamber President John Tayer said in his closing remarks, “We are fortunate to have such a thoughtful and engaged leader representing us in Washington. We look forward to working in partnership with Joe to address the challenges small business face.”
