It was a crazy-fun night at E-Town Hall on September 26, filled with dad bands, punk rock, and dancing vegetables.

Local legend Card Catalog, the winner of the inaugural 2016 Boulder Chamber Battle of the Industry Bands, kicked off the night with a powerful set. Pure Applesauce, an acoustic lawyer-duo from Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti, led off the contestant performances. Google's void* followed with a suite of original music and was later named the 2019 Battle of the Industry Bands winner as selected by the judges. Party Thyme, representing the Chef Ann Foundation, filled the hall with laughs as band members in vegetable costumes danced across the stage. Bad Rx from Kaiser Permanente ended up winning the crowd's hearts with their pun-filled homage to dadhood, later taking home the "Chammy" People's Choice Award. Leftover Sermon, representing Boulder Community Health, wrapped up the evening with an impressive high-energy punk performance and rounded out the variety of genres in this year's contest. This year's sponsor-chosen nonprofits that the bands played for at the event included Boulder Meals on Wheels, Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, the Chef Ann Foundation, Boulder Housing Partners, and Can'd Aid.

Thank you to our sponsors, prize donors, judges, and everyone who came out to support Boulder's local talent and nonprofits!
