Supporting Restaurants During Challenging Times

A recent takeout order from West End Tavern placed by Boulder Chamber President & CEO John Tayer.
The Boulder Chamber joined with the City of Boulder and our other local business support partners, including Downtown Boulder and the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau, to launch a new program to assist local restaurants and incentivize residents to support their favorite restaurants with delivery meals.
The program, called Restaurant S.O.S. (Safe Ordering Service), is structured to have the city pay the restaurant portion of third-party delivery fees. In exchange, the third party delivery service, Nosh Boulder, will cap delivery fees at 15%. The city will use a portion of allocated federal CARES Act funding to pay the restaurant’s portion of the delivery fees, allowing local restaurants to retain more of the operating cost and profit for delivered meals.
The program runs through Dec. 30, 2020. For more information about Nosh Boulder, please visit boulder.noshdelivery.co. For more program details, read the frequently asked questions (FAQs) in both English and in Spanish. The Nosh Boulder app is available in the Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store.
