NWCA Leading The Way on the 2022 Ballot

The Northwest Chamber Alliance (NWCA), a coalition of chambers of commerce from across Boulder and Broomfield Counties, voiced regional business support for four measures on the 2022 election ballot that will strengthen our economy through enhanced mobility solutions. The four Ballot Issues that the NWCA endorsed are as follows:

Proposition 123: A state funding initiative for affordable workforce housing construction.

Ballot Issue 5A: A Boulder Valley School District bond measure that will facilitate capital construction for school buildings and investments in career and technical education facilities.

Ballot Issue 1A: Will help protect our communities and regional economy from the devastating impacts of wildfires, including damage to critical water resources.

Ballot Measure 1B: Provides essential support for emergency response services that will be a peace of mind for the residents and tourists who frequent our outdoor recreation centers.

“These are challenging times for business, so we carefully scrutinize any further financial burdens,” said Boulder Chamber President and CEO John Tayer. “In the case of these four ballot measures, we join with the Northwest Chamber Alliance in recognizing that the strength of our economy depends on targeted investments in critical community needs, such as housing, wildfire prevention, emergency response and education.”
