Reporting Fake Vaccination Cards

  • “To report suspicious activity involving fake vaccination record cards, please contact the appropriate government agency in your state or jurisdiction, HHS-OIG (1-800-HHS-TIPS or www.oig.hhs.gov); or the Internet Crime Complaint Center (www.ic3.gov).”

  • To support the safety of all the community members, including children who are not eligible for vaccination, Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) issued Public Health Order 2021-08. The order, approved by Board of Health on Sept. 2, requires mask wearing in all indoor public spaces for all individuals 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status and will go into effect on Friday, Sept. 3 at 5pm.

  • To protect health and support continued in-person learning in PK-12 schools and childcare settings, Boulder County Public Health previously issued Public Health Order 2021-07 requiring facial coverings, and that order is still in effect. Read more

Government Updates & Announcements

Federal

The Federal Government has implemented several “phases” of response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

  • Phase 1: An $8.3 billion bill focused on the initial outbreak.
    • PROGRAM: ~$3 billion for research and development for a vaccine, $2.2 billion for public health programs, $1 billion for medical supplies and other emergency measures, and authorization for SBA loans suffering from COVID-19 impacts.
    • STATUS: Signed into law on March 6, 2020
  • Phase 2: “The Families First Coronavirus Response Act.” A $104 billion bill focused on paid leave and unemployment benefits.
    • PROGRAM: The phase two package includes free coronavirus testing, expanded funding for food security programs, increased funding for Medicaid and state unemployment insurance, and paid sick, family and medical leave for workers at companies with 500 employees or fewer.
    • STATUS: Signed into law. Passed the US Senate on March 18, 2020 after passing the US House. You can read a full summary of all of the provisions by clicking here »
  • Phase 3: A $2 trillion package supporting businesses and states.
    • PROGRAM: This is a large federal relief program including hundreds of billions of dollars dedicated to small business loans, a $1,200 paycheck to most American adults, billions for corporate stock purchases, and more.
    • STATUS: Signed into law
  • Phase 4: A $900 billion relief package including support for individuals and businesses.

211colorado.org 2-1-1 Colorado is a confidential and multilingual service connecting people across the State of Colorado to vital resources in their local community. 2-1-1 serves as one central location where people can access over 7,500 health and human service resources. Callers may experience long wait times, as demand for information is high. 2-1-1 Colorado is hiring in order to reduce wait times and meet Coloradans’ needs. 2-1-1 provides navigation services to resources such as:

  • Housing, including shelters and transitional services.
  • Rent and utility assistance.
  • Applying for SNAP benefits by phone.
  • Childcare.
  • Food/meals.
  • Transportation.
  • Clothing/personal/household needs.
  • Mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Employment.
  • Education.
  • Medical clinics.
  • Dental clinic.
  • Other government/economic services.

Governor Polis ends health emergency declaration in Colorado Read more

Governor Polis has amended and extended the statewide mask order, which did not change the status in Boulder County at this time for indoor spaces - Executive Order D 2021 079.  Boulder County Public Health has updated the Boulder County Facial Covering Order to align with the Colorado Face Covering Order by continuing to require facial coverings in indoor public spaces at all times, but no longer requiring face coverings when outdoors.
