Through its Boulder Economic Council (BEC), the Boulder Chamber sustains Boulder’s economic vitality by supporting local businesses that sell into national and international markets and import capital to fuel our economy. This is done through:

  • Facilitate relocation of new businesses in our key industries to Boulder
  • Convene businesses across industries for a dialog on economic trends and developments impacting Boulder at the annual “Boulder Economic Summit” hosted by the Boulder Economic Council
  • Present the “Economic Forecast: Boulder and Beyond” forum, an annual economic and business outlook event featuring nationally-recognized economists
  • Advocate for local, state and federal public policies favorable to sustained economic vitality

  • Facilitate new startups and expansion of early stage businesses by connecting entrepreneurs with capital, mentoring, coworking venues, and other critical resources
  • Funding and leadership for startup and small business support organizations and initiatives
  • Host “Esprit Entrepreneur”, a community-wide, annual celebration of entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial spirit, now in its third decade

  • Through the Boulder Economic Council, produce up-to-date, publicly available demographic and economic reports on the Boulder economy
